Use about 1 2 cup at a time, highest setting, run for short times or use the pulse until the oat groats are cracked. Steel cut oats are oat groats cut into 2 3 pieces each so it doesn't take long. Can I take steel cut oats and grind them in my food processor to create something close to medium oatmeal I'd rather not buy it over the internet, as I have rolled oats and steel cut oats. Can either of these be transformed into medium oatmeal TIA for any advice.
